Colonial America

I hope everyone enjoyed the four day weekend. I definitely did! Now that we are all refreshed, it is time to get working and have a successful 2nd quarter. The culminating assignment for the Colonial America unit is to pretend you are someone from Colonial America and write a letter describing your life. The Colonial America test will be Tues. 10/27 for B day and Wed. 10/28 for A day. The following study guide will help:

Colony Test – Review Sheet
-Explain why people came to the New World.
-Map the colonies.
-Categorize which colonies are New England, Middle, Southern.
-Motivation, Economy, Geography, Homes, and Schools for each region (pink chart!)
-Vocabulary: Puritan, Pilgrim, cash crop, staple crop, indentured servant, slavery, Triangular Trade
